The end of the summer means it is time for Milton Days in our town. This year was a bit different with lots of booths to go to. Here the girls are at the Fire Safety booth.
It was a very warm weekend here in the high 80s. Strange since all summer it has been pretty cool. The Milton Days event went on Saturday and Sunday and as I type this on Monday it is raining so I guess it held out for the event which is nice.
The girls enjoyed the bouncy houses, dunking booth, and of course the sliding down the hill on the cardboard boxes.
It was nice that Christian had off work on Saturday this year so he was able to attend the parade and get to see Milton days for himself for the first time since we have lived here. This is our fourth time coming. It is a great chance to come out and see all of their friends before school starts.
This week will start the orientation and open house events for both their schools and then next week it is back in session.
