Open House

We went to Open House last night for each of the girl's schools. First was Erin's who is was happy to discover her little best friend Jake is in her class once again this year. The only familiar face she has. All the rest will be new friends for her to make. Quite the eclectic mix of English as a second language students who speak both Spanish and Ukrainian. Who knows maybe Erin will pick up another language? ;) Erin's classroom this year is the Butterfly room which she loves as well. Seems like a very cozy room and a sweet teacher.

Next was Regan's school next door. Regan's teacher is from Hawaii and her whole classroom looks like a tropical vacation. This teacher does not like to use desks but tables instead and likes to encourage a team effort out of her class. She seems very nice and got high recommmendations from all parents who have had her in the past.

So I am feeling good about this year and praying that all three of my kids have a great school year this year. Once again God is good to us and it seems my prayers of placing my kids with the right teacher seemed to be answered. So here is to a good year for not only my three Merry Meyers but all of our kids and the teachers as well!
