Van will be back soon

For those of you that may not have known about a week ago I was out bringing Jordan's girlfriend Arielle home for the night. The three of us were rear ended by a drunk driver. Thankfully no one was hurt (not even the idiot drunk driver).

We are still working on all the details with insurance and what not. The (yes brand new, Uggh!) van is in the repair shop getting fixed. The only damage done was the rear hatch tailgate door needs to be replaced as well as the bumper and the reinforcements behind the bumper. Those reinforcements apparently kept the body of the car from being damaged, thankfully.

I just got a call from the body shop and they said the van will be picked up and ready for us to take home tomorrow.

So thankful for the way it all turned out in the end. Even though my van is not the brand new van it once was it will be fixed and good as new soon. I am just ever so grateful that no one was hurt and the highway patrolman that chased down the drunk driver before he fleed the accident happened upon us at just the right time.
