This was one of the few holiday my husband actually had off WITH us. It was an unbelievably beautiful day so we decided to take full advantage of it. We took a picnic lunch out to the kids favorite park and enjoyed the afternoon. It was so packed there!! As my dad would say I think everyone heard we were coming and stole our idea ;). Don't worry dad we got the parking space closest to the exit so we could trick them all and be the first ones out!

This was one of the first Memorial day's in the Northwest to not have rain. I couldn't believe it! Glad to see Christian had a holiday off with you guys. The comment at the end definitely sounded like something your dad would say...cracks me up!
Looks very relaxing. We loved that park too.
We spent our weekend at the pageant. I was beat when we got home so mine wasn't near as relaxing as yours.
we had graduation weekend and memorial day all wrapped in one with lots of family
We were traveling home on the plane MOST of the day. Got into KC in time for it to rain on us almost all the way to Sedalia.
Met Kris in Sedville at Colton's Steak house for supper.[He had spent the weekend at our house 'babysitting' the dog and cat]When we went to pay the bill, Ron realized that he did not have his'card'.The last time he remembered using it was...when he bought our tickets for the 'light rail' from the hotel to the airport. The tickets came out of the machine about the same the train was coming and we got all in a hurry to be sure and catch the train. I called the 'card' company on our way home from Sedalia and closed the account.
As far as we can determine, there was only one other ticket 'bought' with his card. Someone would have to know Ron's pin number or have a Missouri ID in order to use it. Of course I had to go to the bank and apply for new cards for us but that is a small problem compared to what it could have been!!!
Glad you were able to have a nice day in the park with the whole family!!
Sounds like a great day. Glad you could all be together and our weather down here was beautiful too. Unheard of huh.
